Ten People Hospitalized After Brutal Train Stabbing On UK Train

Date:

Ten people have been hospitalized — nine of them with life-threatening injuries — following a stabbing attack on a train traveling through Cambridgeshire.

According to Cambridgeshire Police, two suspects have been arrested, and photos from the scene show officers responding at Huntingdon station. Authorities have declared a “major incident,” with counter-terrorism officers assisting in the investigation.

The attack took place on the 6:25 p.m. service from Doncaster to London King’s Cross. One eyewitness told the BBC they saw a man running down the carriage with a bloodied arm, shouting “they’ve got a knife, run,” before another man collapsed on the floor.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer described the attack as an “appalling incident” and said it was “deeply concerning,” urging the public to heed guidance from local authorities.
