Zayn Malik has once again been appointed as a director of One Direction’s company, PPM Music Limited, marking a formal reunion with the band more than a decade after he left.
The singer departed from One Direction in March 2015, about five years after the group was formed on The X Factor. During his time with the band, One Direction topped the UK singles charts with four hits and won four Brit Awards, including British Single of the Year in 2012 for What Makes You Beautiful.
Zayn’s role as a director of PPM Music Limited was previously terminated in June 2016. However, new documents filed with Companies House show that he has resumed his directorship as of November 3.
The Bradford-born musician, now 32, is listed as an “Active Director” alongside his former bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan, all sharing the same central London address for the company.
