A woman birdwatching yesterday (November 12) along the Toyohira River in Shiroishi Ward, Sapporo, Japan, was shocked to see a person floating face-down in the river and immediately called the authorities. Police recovered the body, which was already deceased, unclothed, and initially estimated to be a woman between 60 and 80 years old.
