Social media users were left amazed after discovering that a luxurious two-storey building in Banjarnegara, Central Java, is not a mansion as many initially believed, but a high-end sheep enclosure.
Dubbed the “Sultan Sheep Pen” by netizens, the impressive structure is located in the Batur district and has attracted widespread attention online for its unique design.
A video shared on TikTok by user @afdholabadi shows a flock of sheep resting comfortably inside individual pens situated on the building’s first floor.
What caught the attention of viewers was the interior finish of the animal shelter, with each pen featuring tiled floors and mosaic-covered walls more commonly associated with residential homes.
According to the owner, the building was intentionally designed to resemble a house in order to provide greater comfort and promote the health of the livestock. Animal welfare and proper housing are increasingly becoming important considerations among modern livestock breeders.
The unusual sheep pen has since gone viral, recording more than 13,600 views and generating a flood of reactions from amused netizens.
“Their lives are more comfortable than mine,” one social media user joked, while others praised the owner’s dedication to ensuring the well-being of his animals.
