BLACKPINK’s Lisa is taking another big step in her global career, officially signing with William Morris Endeavor (WME) for representation in film and television. The move comes on the heels of her acting breakthrough in HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3, where she played Mook, a resort employee and health mentor—a role that marked her debut as an actress and earned widespread attention.
While WME also manages top names in the music industry, Lisa’s music activities will remain under her own company LLOUD CO. and The Lede Company. Her acting career, however, will now be guided by WME, the powerhouse agency known for representing Hollywood A-listers such as Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, and Ben Affleck, as well as music icons like Adele, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, and Bruno Mars.
This year alone has been a landmark for Lisa. She released her solo album ALTER EGO, made her Coachella debut, became the first K-pop singer to perform at the Academy Awards, and even attended the Emmy Awards—cementing her status as one of the most influential K-pop stars to cross into Hollywood.
Adding to her achievements, Sony Music Vision, in partnership with RCA Records and LLOUD CO., announced a documentary that will follow Lisa’s rise from global superstardom with BLACKPINK to her solo career and new ventures in acting.
With WME behind her, Lisa is now positioned to expand her presence in Hollywood and further bridge the worlds of K-pop and Western entertainment.
