BTS Fans In Malaysia Question VIP Ticket Allocation Ahead Of Bukit Jalil Concert

Date:

he Malaysian fan community of K-pop group BTS has expressed frustration and concern over alleged irregularities involving the allocation and distribution of VIP tickets for the group’s upcoming “Arirang” World Tour concert at Bukit Jalil National Stadium this December.

Fans claim that confusion arose after a local influencer allegedly posted content suggesting that CAT1 and VIP tickets were available prior to the official public sale. The post has since been deleted, further fuelling speculation online.

According to screenshots circulating among fans, a person believed to be the influencer’s manager reportedly acknowledged the post and stated that it was removed after the tickets were sold out. The authenticity of the claims, however, has not been independently verified.

Some fans also alleged that they had contacted the influencer directly, with one claimed response stating, “I’m an influencer, I never do illegal things,” further intensifying debate over the issue.

Fan representative Nik said the situation raises serious concerns about fairness and transparency in ticket distribution, especially as many genuine fans reportedly struggled to secure VIP tickets during early access periods.

He added that if pre-sale allocations were given to selected groups or individuals ahead of the public sale, it could undermine trust in the official ticketing process and open the door to scalping activities.

Meanwhile, social media discussions suggest that some VIP tickets are being resold online at significantly higher prices, raising further concerns about ticket scalping ahead of the official sale period.

Official ticket sales for the BTS World Tour “Arirang” in Kuala Lumpur are scheduled to begin in stages, with the first presale expected on 3 June 2026 at 11am.

Fans have since called for clearer communication from organisers and stricter measures to ensure fair access to tickets, while organisers and the influencer involved have yet to issue an official response.
