Dakota Johnson has a dating dealbreaker, and it’s all about what’s on a guy’s feet. The Materialists star revealed her biggest red flag in relationships: “Men who wear flip flops. Run,” she told Vogue during their Oct. 21 Questions from Everywhere digital series.
But footwear isn’t the only thing she’s picky about. Dakota, also known for her role in Madame Web, admitted she isn’t a fan of cologne or strong scents on anyone. “No, I don’t love it,” she explained. “I have a really specific olfactory situation happening for me with men and women and everyone.”
The actress isn’t shy about sharing what she wants (and doesn’t want) in a partner. Back in July, Dakota opened up about her relationship expectations, telling Today, “Just like, not an a–hole.” Her Materialists co-star Chris Evans, married to Alba Baptista, immediately agreed: “That’s concise. There it is. Nail on the head.”
For Dakota, it seems dating isn’t just about chemistry—it’s about flip-flops and fragrances too.
