Jennifer Lopez Admits Her Exes Couldn’t Truly Love Her

Date:

Jennifer Lopez is speaking candidly about her love life, reflecting on high-profile romances and the lessons she’s learned. On the October 15 episode of Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show, the 56-year-old star—mother of 17-year-old twins Max and Emme with Marc Anthony—admitted that despite her famous relationships, she’s never truly felt fully loved.

“It’s not that I’m not lovable,” Jennifer explained. “It’s that they’re not capable. They need to appreciate the little person inside of them. They need to love them.” She added that her exes, including Marc Anthony, Alex Rodriguez, and Ben Affleck, “gave me all of it—houses, rings, everything—but they didn’t love me. And I didn’t love myself.”

Jennifer reflected on how fame and her career impacted relationships, saying compromises and adjustments are inevitable when living such a high-profile life. Even so, she remains appreciative of the experiences.

Despite parting ways with Ben Affleck after rekindling their romance in 2021, they have stayed on friendly terms. Ben recently joined Jennifer on the red carpet for the New York City premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman on October 6, praising her performance: “Jennifer is incredible in this movie. She’s fabulous.”

Through heartbreak, fame, and reconciliation, Jennifer Lopez continues to navigate life with honesty, acknowledging both the compromises of stardom and the love she still hopes to find.
