NewJeans’ Haerin and Hyein to Continue with ADOR Amid Contract Dispute

Date:

ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE, announced that two NewJeans members — Haerin and Hyein — have agreed to continue their activities under the agency, following a recent court decision on their contract dispute.

In a statement released on social media, ADOR said both members, after “careful consideration with their families and thorough discussions with the company,” have decided to respect the court’s ruling and comply with their exclusive contracts.

“ADOR will do its utmost to ensure that Haerin and Hyein can smoothly continue their entertainment activities,” the agency said, while asking fans to offer “warm support” and refrain from speculation about the situation.

The Seoul Central District Court on October 30 ruled in favor of ADOR, rejecting the group’s claim that alleged mistreatment had caused an “irreparable breakdown of trust.”

As of now, no official updates have been released regarding the remaining three members — Hanni, Danielle, and Minji.
