The older brother of late K-pop star and actress Sulli has sparked fresh online speculation after posting a cryptic message many believe was directed at South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun.
The post surfaced shortly after reports emerged claiming police had dismissed allegations involving an alleged underage relationship between Kim Soo Hyun and late actress Kim Sae-ron.
According to reports, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station concluded that accusations made by Kim Se-ui, the head of controversial YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute, lacked credibility.
Authorities reportedly found that social media messenger conversations and audio recordings submitted as evidence had been fabricated.
Soon after the findings became public, Sulli’s brother, identified only by his surname Choi, posted a message on social media on May 21 that quickly caught public attention.
“The moment you make a comeback, the second round begins. The choice is yours,” he wrote.
Many online users interpreted the phrase “make a comeback” as a possible reference to Kim Soo Hyun potentially returning to public activities or the entertainment industry.
Speculation intensified further after Choi allegedly responded to an acquaintance’s comment asking, “Who did that?” with the reply: “There’s a guy from the stars.”
The phrase was widely seen as an apparent reference to Kim Soo Hyun’s hit drama My Love from the Star.
Choi had previously accused Kim Soo Hyun’s side of placing pressure on Sulli during the filming of the 2017 movie Real, which starred both actors.
Although no new legal action has been filed over the recent social media post, the message has reignited public discussion surrounding past allegations and tensions linked to the late actress.
The controversy continues to attract heavy attention online as fans and netizens debate the meaning behind Choi’s remarks.
