Syed Saddiq Reveals He Has Multiple ‘Pet Names’ For Fiancée Bella Astillah Including ‘Grumpy Munchkin’

Date:

Muar MP Syed Saddiq has revealed that he has several affectionate nicknames for his fiancée, singer Bella Astillah, during their courtship period, saying some are too personal to be shared publicly.

The 33-year-old politician said the couple’s private terms of endearment are part of their relationship dynamic, while only a few have been disclosed to the public.

“There are many names I call Bella. Some are private, so you don’t need to know,” he said during a TikTok livestream.

Among the nicknames previously revealed is “Grumpy Munchkin”, which Syed Saddiq said is just one of several playful names used between the couple.

He also explained that their relationship is not defined solely by affectionate nicknames, but by consistent actions that strengthen their bond.

“We show love in many ways, not just through names but also through actions. Sometimes actions are the best way to express love,” he said.

Syed Saddiq was responding to questions from netizens asking about the pet names he uses for his fiancée.

The couple’s relationship became public after Bella Astillah was officially engaged to Syed Saddiq during a private ceremony held at Bamboo Hills, Hulu Klang, on March 28.

Speculation has also circulated online suggesting that the pair may be planning to tie the knot in June, although no official confirmation has been made.
