Thai pop sensation Peck Palitchoke, also known as Pek Palitchok, was the victim of a shocking stabbing incident in the early hours of August 3. The attack occurred around 1:30 AM at a gas station in Bangkok’s Bang Kapo District.
Responding swiftly, officers from Huamark Police Station arrived at the scene to find Peck collapsed and bleeding heavily from a deep stab wound to his chin. Emergency aid was administered on-site before the singer was rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment.
Eyewitnesses reported that Peck was attacked without warning by a young man later identified as 21-year-old Chutithep. Bystanders managed to detain the suspect before police arrived. A 20-centimeter knife believed to be the weapon used in the assault was confiscated from him.

At the police station, Chutithep claimed he acted in self-defense. He stated that he did not know Peck personally and had no previous conflict with him. According to his account, he was at the gas station to refuel when he heard a disturbance behind a truck. Upon intervening, he claimed that Peck allegedly punched him in the face, prompting him to retaliate with the knife. He insisted the stabbing was unintentional.
Authorities have charged Chutithep with illegal possession of a deadly weapon in public and assault causing bodily harm. Additional charges may be considered depending on Peck’s full medical evaluation.
Peck’s management has since provided an update, revealing that the singer underwent surgery to close the wound. Thankfully, the stab did not damage any major nerves, and there is no facial paralysis. While he remains hospitalized, his condition is stable.
Peck, born in 1984, has been a prominent figure in Thailand’s entertainment scene since 2001. With multiple hit albums and sold-out concerts under his belt, he continues to enjoy a devoted fanbase across the country.
