Kai Trump, the 18-year-old granddaughter of U.S. President Donald Trump, is fast becoming a social media sensation. Known for her striking looks, Kai has seized the moment to launch her own clothing brand. She even posed for promotional photos in front of the White House and, on September 26, wore her own designs while boarding the presidential plane with her grandfather to attend the Ryder Cup golf tournament — a move that gave her maximum visibility and showcased the Trump family’s entrepreneurial streak.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Kai announced on her X account that her clothing line had officially launched, saying: “Launching this collection has been a dream of mine. I’m so grateful it’s finally here — such an exciting moment.” She described her pieces as minimalist and versatile, allowing customers to mix and match and create their own looks.
A look at the online store shows the brand features plain T-shirts in white, blue, and black. Each shirt bears Kai’s initials “KT” on the chest and her name embroidered on the sleeve. The shirts are priced at US$130 each (about RM600).
In addition to the White House photoshoot, Kai’s appearance alongside Trump on the presidential plane in her own designs brought another round of free publicity.
Critics argue the Trump family continues to blur the line between politics and business — Trump’s sons Donald Jr. and Eric already oversee the family empire and have launched various cryptocurrencies — while supporters praise their business acumen. The White House insists there is no conflict of interest, noting that Trump’s business assets are fully managed by his children.
