A 12-year-old girl was injured during a knife-point robbery in Putra Perdana, Sepang, yesterday.
Sepang deputy police chief GK Shan Gopal said the victim’s father lodged a police report at 5.03pm after a neighbour informed him of the incident, according to Sinar Harian.
The girl sustained injuries to her face, neck, and head before being rushed to the hospital by the neighbour for treatment.
“She is now in stable condition and did not suffer any serious injuries,” Shan Gopal said in a statement today.
Police are investigating the case under Section 394 of the Penal Code, which covers causing injury while committing a robbery.
