35-Year-Old Collapses And Dies While Playing Badminton In Seremban

Date:

A man who was expecting his third child has tragically passed away while playing badminton in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, last night.

According to a report by China Press, a viral video circulating on social media showed the victim, identified as 35-year-old Lee Kah Chin, suddenly collapsing and losing consciousness during a match.

The footage captured the moment Lee fell after returning a shot. His friends immediately rushed to his aid and performed emergency treatment using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Lee was later rushed to the hospital, but doctors sadly confirmed that he had already passed away.

He leaves behind a pregnant wife who is expected to give birth soon, along with two young children aged three and one.

The heartbreaking incident has stirred deep sorrow and concern among the public, particularly for Lee’s widow, who now faces this tragedy while preparing to welcome their newborn.

A close friend revealed that Lee worked as a salesman and was known as a loving, responsible husband and father. The couple had recently purchased a new home and were looking forward to moving in to start a new chapter as a family of five.

“He’s been active in sports for years and was always healthy. Before the game, he didn’t complain of any discomfort. He just returned a shot — and suddenly collapsed,” said his friend.

Following a post-mortem examination, Lee’s body was handed over to his family, and the funeral will be held tomorrow at Chen Kong Toh Tong Temple in Seremban.
