Atiriyana, 12, Reported Missing After Leaving Home in Sungai Tong

Date:

A 12-year-old girl named Atiriyana has been missing since Saturday (9th) after leaving her home in the Sungai Tong residential area and has yet to be found.

Mohamad Zain, the Chief of the Setiu Police District, revealed that Atiriyana’s father, aged 36, reported her disappearance to the police at 3:31 pm yesterday.

According to Mohamad Zain’s statement on Sunday, the missing girl is about 149 cm tall, weighs 58 kg, has a sturdy build, and fair skin.

It is believed that Atiriyana left home around 5 pm on Saturday without her family’s knowledge. She has a history of stomach pain and had dropped out of school in the fourth grade due to her health condition. She lives with her parents and her 8-year-old brother.

The police noted that Atiriyana has no close friends and usually stays at home, but it is believed she connected with a man through social media. Initial investigations indicate that this man does not live near her residential area.

Authorities are appealing to anyone with information to contact investigating officer Rosman Chenoding at 013-3392709 or 09-6098222 to assist in locating the missing girl.
