A tragic accident occurred on Jalan Utama, Felda Chiku 1, where a car collided with a trailer lorry, resulting in four deaths—including two children—and one person seriously injured.
The Kelantan Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) received an emergency call at 9:07 am and promptly dispatched a team from the Gua Musang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP). Upon arriving at the scene at 9:34 am, rescuers found a Honda car crashed into the trailer, with five people trapped inside.
While the lorry driver was unharmed, the female driver of the car was in critical condition. Sadly, four occupants, including two children, were pronounced dead at the scene. The injured driver was rushed to Gua Musang Hospital, where all victims were taken for further medical attention and investigation.
The rescue operation, led by Senior Fire Officer II Nik Mohd Fakri Md Nawi and supported by a team of 10 personnel, utilized FRT machinery, Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS), and an FRV Triton vehicle before concluding the mission.
Gua Musang District Police Chief Supt Sik Choon Foo confirmed the incident and stated that the victims’ bodies have been handed over to the police for further action.
