A car reportedly lost control while driving past a row of shops, launching into the air before crashing and damaging several vehicles.
At the scene, a blue car was seen “suspended” atop the roof of a red car, while the area in front of the shops was left in complete disarray.
The unusual car pile-up occurred around 9 a.m. today in the commercial district of Jalan Pingai, Rainbow Garden, Johor Bahru. Preliminary estimates suggest at least five cars were involved.
According to videos and photos circulating on social media, the blue car appeared to be precariously balanced on top of the red car, with its front end colliding with public parking spaces and the shop frontage.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, with police reported to be at the scene. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties have been reported, although many bystanders gathered to witness the aftermath.
