Man Dies After Suspected Electrocution in Taman Bukit Larang Indah

A 52-year-old man died, believed to have been electrocuted, while working in the ceiling of a house in Taman Bukit Larang Indah last night.

Padang Temu Fire and Rescue Station operations commander, Senior Fire Officer II Muhammad Shamser Mat Sharif, said a team was dispatched at around 9pm after receiving an emergency call.

Firefighters arrived within six minutes and found the man unconscious on the ceiling structure. He was brought down and given initial medical assistance but was later pronounced dead by health personnel.

The victim’s body has been handed over to the police for further investigation, he said in a statement today. — Bernama
