The family of a young boy who was critically injured after being struck with a hammer is pleading with the public to pray for a miracle.
The boy’s father, Muhammad Badrul, shared an update on Facebook with a photo of his son, Muhammad Ammar Muhammad Badrul, 7, whose head is bandaged. The child is currently being treated at the Universiti Sains Malaysia Specialist Hospital (HPUSM) in Kubang Kerian.
In an 8:30 a.m. post, Muhammad Badrul asked friends and well-wishers to pray for his eldest son’s recovery and for ease in his treatment. “The situation is critical, with uncontrollable bleeding in his head. I hope the prayers of everyone can bring a miracle for my child,” he wrote.
According to reports, the young boy suffered severe head injuries after allegedly being attacked with a hammer by his uncle. The incident took place at a shop house in Pasar Jelawat at around 5:15 p.m. yesterday.
