Immigration Raid in Nilai Detained 46 Undocumented Bangladeshi Workers

The Immigration Department detained 46 undocumented migrants during an enforcement operation at a factory in Nilai yesterday.

Seremban Immigration director Kennith Tan Ai Kiang said the four-hour operation, which began at 9am, was carried out following public complaints.

All those detained were Bangladeshi men aged between 18 and 43. They were arrested for various immigration offences, including not possessing valid passes or travel documents and overstaying in the country.

The detainees were subsequently taken to the Lenggeng Immigration Depot for further investigation and action.
