Influencer Finds Student’s Corpse During Livestream at Abandoned Theme Park

Date:

A social media influencer was left shocked after discovering the body of a male student while conducting a live broadcast on TikTok at an abandoned tourist attraction in West Java, Indonesian news portal iNews reported.

The grim discovery was made last Friday at the deserted Kampung Gajah Wonderland theme park. According to Cimahi Police Chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Niko N Adi Putra, two individuals were livestreaming at the site when they detected a strong foul odour.

“After checking the area, they found the body of a male student lying on the ground. They immediately alerted local residents and informed the police,” he said.

Authorities later identified the victim through a school uniform found inside his backpack. The body was transported to hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim, identified only as Z, had been reported missing since Monday. The school received a notification from the family a day after he failed to return home.

Police have since arrested two teenagers, identified as YA, 16, and APM, 17, who are suspected of murdering the victim over a grudge. Investigations are ongoing.
