Malaysian actor Ako Mustapha has claimed that his son, Mika, was allegedly bullied at school in an incident that took place on Tuesday.
Ako, whose real name is Muhaizad Ahmad Mustapha, 55, said the incident only came to light when Mika returned home from school and informed the family about what had happened.
According to him, he later discovered visible marks on his son’s body, including what appeared to be shoe prints and bruising on the stomach area.
In a post shared on his Threads account, Ako expressed anger over the incident, alleging that his son was bullied by a group of five students.
“He came home from school and went to shower, then told me he had been bullied. When I dried his body, I noticed marks on his stomach that looked like shoe prints and punches,” he said, adding that Mika then explained what had happened after being questioned.
Ako also said the family has gathered photographic and video evidence of the alleged bullying and has handed it over to the school for further investigation. He noted that the school had been cooperative in handling the matter.
He added that Mika complained of pain in his stomach and chest, prompting his wife to document the injuries before informing the class teacher.
Following the incident, Mika was taken to a health clinic for medical attention before being referred to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for further examination.
According to Ako, doctors at the clinic issued a referral letter for further checks at the hospital, where his son is currently undergoing treatment.
He said Mika is now being kept under observation and is required to fast as doctors prepare to conduct an X-ray examination.
“Please pray that everything goes well for my son,” he added.
