As of 7AM today, air quality across Malaysia remains at safe levels, with no locations recording pollution levels deemed unhealthy.
According to the Department of Environment’s Air Pollution Index Management System (APIMS), 33 areas currently fall under the “moderate” air quality category, with none exceeding an API reading of 80.
Meanwhile, 35 locations are enjoying “good” air quality.

For reference, the Department of Environment classifies air quality as follows:
- 0–50: Good
- 51–100: Moderate
- 101–200: Unhealthy
- 201–300: Very Unhealthy
- Above 300: Hazardous
As of this morning, no regions have breached the 100-point threshold, meaning air conditions remain generally safe throughout the country.
