A tragic road accident occurred this morning around 9 a.m. on Jalan Samarahan Expressway near Uni Central, leaving a motorcyclist dead after being run over by a lorry. The victim fell from their motorcycle onto the road and was fatally crushed, suffering severe injuries to the lower body.
The collision involved a motorcycle, a Proton Saga, and a 10-ton lorry. Following the crash, the damaged motorcycle caught fire and emitted smoke.
Another man was also injured in the incident and was lying on the road awaiting medical assistance. Emergency services responded to the scene promptly, but the motorcyclist could not be saved.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
