Police Launch Search For Missing Family Of Six In Bentong

Police are searching for a family of six who have been reported missing after allegedly leaving their home in Taman Orkid, Bentong, on Monday.

Bentong district police chief Superintendent Zaiham Mohd Kahar said the missing persons report was lodged at 7.34pm on Monday by a 43-year-old man, who is the husband and father of the individuals involved.

According to the report, the man discovered that his wife, M Rekha, 41, and their five children were not at home at around 6.30am. Their last known address and location was in Taman Orkid, Bentong.

The five children have been identified as S Ruban, 19; S Sharivina Nair, 17; S Shasini Nair, 16; S Pritivi Nair, 14; and S Lashwin Nair, 4.

Police said investigations are ongoing, with active efforts underway to locate all six individuals.

Members of the public with any information are urged to come forward to assist the investigation by contacting the nearest police station or the Bentong District Police Headquarters Control Centre (DCC) at 09-2231999.
