A policeman has been detained after the police pickup truck he was driving collided with two motorcycles, resulting in one fatality and injuring another rider.
District police chief ACP Yusharifuddin Mohd Yusop said the incident took place at approximately 10.20pm last night while the officer was on patrol near Persiaran Wawasan.
“Preliminary investigations suggest negligence by the pickup truck driver. The policeman has been arrested to assist with further investigations,” he said in a statement today.
