Rescuer Denies Allegations Of Assaulting Thai Actress, Claims He Performed CPR

Date:

A rescuer accused of sexually assaulting a Thai actress has denied the allegations, insisting he was providing emergency aid and performing CPR rather than engaging in any inappropriate conduct.

The 30-year-old actress, Christine Gulasatree Michalsky, shared her account on social media on March 31, claiming she required urgent medical assistance and had asked a friend to call a rescue team to bring her to hospital.

She alleged that a male rescuer arrived alone at her condominium and later assaulted her while a security guard had briefly left the scene to contact police. She claimed he lifted her shirt, removed her trousers, groped her, and took photographs of her while she was naked, saying the incident stopped when police arrived with the security guard.

Christine added that although she was unwell and weak, she remained conscious throughout and was unable to resist due to her condition, fearing further harm if she did.

On April 1, she went to Khlong Tan Police Station to submit the clothing she wore during the incident and provide additional testimony, remaining there for more than four hours for further questioning.

The accused rescuer was also called in for questioning, where he denied the allegations. According to reports, he said he only performed CPR and rejected claims of sexual assault, insisting that any photographs taken were of medication packaging meant to assist medical personnel.

He also denied taking any explicit images of the actress.

Following the questioning, Christine told reporters she did not believe CPR was performed and said she was unsure if photographs of her were taken, although she claimed she saw the rescuer using his phone nearby.

Metropolitan Police Division 5 chief Wittawat Chinkham said the rescuer came from outside Bangkok but was part of a local rescue social media group and had responded alone without proper equipment.

He noted that rescue operations are typically carried out in teams and said the man’s actions raised questions, adding that the investigation is still ongoing and no conclusion has been reached.

Authorities said the case is expected to be concluded soon, and if found guilty, the rescuer could face up to 10 years in prison.
