A sinkhole incident has been reported at Jalan Wangsa Delima 4 in Wangsa Maju, near the Wangsa Walk intersection, this afternoon.
Based on a viral video on Threads, the sinkhole appears to be quite deep, with visible water drainage underneath the road surface.
So far, the Fire and Rescue Department has stated that it has not received any report regarding the incident when contacted earlier.
At the same time, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has yet to issue any official statement on the cause of the sinkhole or any follow-up action.
Meanwhile, a netizen suggested the collapse may be due to long-term soil erosion, possibly caused by drainage or surface runoff gradually weakening the ground.
According to Astro Radio Traffic, the affected road has since been closed for repair works, with motorists advised to use alternative routes.
