The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather warning for thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting four states until 12 noon today.
In a 9am statement, MetMalaysia said the adverse weather is expected to impact Selangor, specifically Hulu Selangor, Gombak, and Hulu Langat, as well as the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.
The warning also covers parts of Negeri Sembilan, including Jelebu, Seremban, Kuala Pilah, Rembau, Jempol, and Tampin, along with areas in Sabah such as Sandakan and Kudat, including Pitas.
MetMalaysia urged residents and commuters in the affected areas to stay alert and take necessary precautions.
