Tourists Assaulted And Robbed by Three Transgender Women After Dispute Over Sexual Service Fee

Date:

A violent robbery has shocked the popular Thai tourist destination of Pattaya, where three transgender women allegedly attacked two Indian tourists. The assailants reportedly used fists and kicks during the assault, stole the victims’ belongings, and even assaulted hotel security personnel who tried to intervene. Authorities have obtained surveillance footage and are actively pursuing the suspects.

According to local media The Thaiger, the incident occurred on the evening of October 15. A transgender woman, estimated to be 25–30 years old, approached the two Indian tourists near Pattaya Beach. After some conversation, they agreed on a payment of 500 Thai Baht (approximately MYR 62) for sexual services. However, once they returned to the hotel room, the woman demanded a higher fee and threatened to refuse service if her demand was not met.

The tourists refused to pay the increased price, sparking a confrontation. The woman then called two accomplices for backup. Upon arriving, the trio escalated the situation violently, physically assaulting the tourists and damaging hotel property. The suspects stole 15,000 Thai Baht (around MYR 1,860) and 25,000 Indian Rupees (approximately MYR 1,320), totaling roughly MYR 3,180, before fleeing the scene.

Hotel security responded but was overpowered by the attackers. The suspects reportedly threatened the guard, saying, “You’re not the boss, mind your own business!” The assailants followed the security personnel to a public area, continued the assault with a metal rod, and stole a gold necklace valued at around 60,000 Thai Baht (about MYR 7,400) before escaping.

Police quickly arrived at the scene and reviewed surveillance footage from the hotel and surrounding areas. The footage shows the three women fleeing in different directions, and authorities have now identified their whereabouts and launched a manhunt.

Local police have urged tourists to exercise caution when engaging in financial or personal transactions with strangers and to avoid isolated locations. The case has been classified as a major robbery and assault, and authorities have promised strict legal action once the suspects are apprehended to ensure Pattaya remains a safe tourist destination.
