Woman Arrested After Allegedly Breaking Into Stranger’s Home And Slapping Him In Early Morning Attack

A 54-year-old woman in Japan has been arrested after allegedly entering a stranger’s home in the early morning hours and assaulting him, according to local police.

The incident reportedly took place around 6.10am on 6 May in Kagoshima City, where the suspect is said to have unlawfully entered the residence of a man in his 20s whom she did not know.

Police said the victim was startled to find an unknown woman inside his home and immediately contacted emergency services, reporting the intrusion. Shortly after being discovered, the woman allegedly slapped him across the face.

Officers from Kagoshima Chuo Police Station arrived at the scene and confirmed the assault had already taken place. The suspect was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assault.

Authorities also confirmed that the victim did not suffer any serious injuries, and there were no signs of theft or damage inside the property.

During police questioning, the woman reportedly admitted to the act, stating that she had struck the man with an open hand. Investigators have since confirmed that there is no known relationship between the suspect and the victim.

Police are now working to determine how the woman gained entry into the residence and what may have led to the incident.
