13-Year-Old Teen Suspect Allegedly Chases And Attacks Group Of Children With Knife

Date:

A shocking late-night attack involving a teenage suspect armed with a knife has left a community in fear after several children were allegedly chased and attacked while riding motorcycles through a town intersection.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight on May 30 in Kandong District, where a group of around 10 teenagers, aged between 13 and 14, were travelling home on four motorcycles after spending time at a local park.

According to CCTV footage reviewed by investigators, two male teenagers, both believed to be around 13 to 14 years old, riding a red motorcycle encountered the group at an intersection in Kandong Municipality.

The footage allegedly shows one of the suspects suddenly jumping off the motorcycle and running towards a motorcycle carrying three teenagers while brandishing a knife.

In the chaos that followed, the targeted motorcycle lost control and crashed onto the road.

Rather than stopping, the suspect allegedly continued the pursuit, running after another motorcycle carrying three female teenagers and attempting to attack them as well.

After missing that group, the attacker reportedly returned to chase the teenagers who had fallen from the first motorcycle, creating panic among the victims.

Although none of the teenagers suffered stab wounds, a 13-year-old girl sustained injuries to her hip after being thrown from the motorcycle during the crash.

The attack only came to an end when local residents rushed to assist the frightened teenagers, prompting the suspects to flee the scene.

One of the victims, identified only as 13-year-old “A”, said he was riding the lead motorcycle when the suspect suddenly rushed towards him with a knife.

“He jumped off a motorcycle and came straight at me. He tried to stab me but missed. My motorcycle fell and I ran away as fast as I could,” the teenager said.

A 14-year-old girl who was riding on the same motorcycle said she was unable to get up after the crash because of severe pain in her hip and could only watch as the suspect continued chasing her friends.

Another 14-year-old victim claimed the attacker later turned his attention towards a motorcycle carrying female passengers and attempted to stab them as well.

“The knife nearly hit my waist. It was terrifying. I don’t even know who he is,” she said.

The victims’ aunt, 53-year-old Duangchan, said she was horrified that children were allegedly involved in such a violent incident.

She claimed the suspect, believed to be between 13 and 14 years old and reportedly an older student from the same school attended by some of the victims, had caused fear among local families and expressed concern for the children’s safety if the matter is not dealt with swiftly.

“I want the police to arrest the suspect as soon as possible. Everyone involved is only 13 or 14 years old. If nothing is done, they may become emboldened and commit similar acts again,” she said.

Police are reportedly investigating the incident and reviewing CCTV footage as they work to identify and locate the teenage suspects.

The case has sparked widespread concern among residents, with many questioning how a dispute involving school-aged children escalated into a violent knife attack on a public road.
