Three siblings in Indonesia were left stunned after discovering a stash of cash hidden inside a black plastic bag that belonged to their mother, who passed away three years ago, while cleaning their home, according to news portal Lambe Turah.
A video uploaded on TikTok by account @officiallambeturah showed the siblings retrieving four wallets from a black plastic bag found underneath a bed.
To their surprise, each wallet was filled with banknotes in denominations of 100,000 rupiah (RM23) and 50,000 rupiah (RM11).
The video quickly gained traction online, attracting more than 1.6 million views and sparking a wave of reactions from social media users.
“It would be better to donate the money to orphans. Coincidentally, I’m an orphan,” one netizen joked.
“Give it to a mosque so the deceased can continue receiving blessings,” another social media user commented.
