A 40-year-old woman was left devastated after returning from a holiday with her close friend to discover her husband in bed with her biological mother, exposing a decades-long affair and a shocking family secret.
According to reports by foreign media, the woman shared her experience in a post on Reddit, revealing that she married her husband when she was just 17. The couple had lived together at her parents’ home, where she believed they were building a happy family.
However, that belief was shattered when she returned from her trip and walked into a bedroom to find her husband and mother lying naked in bed together. Rather than showing remorse, her mother allegedly lashed out at her, shouting: “Get out of our room!”
The woman later confronted her husband, who reportedly confessed that he had begun an affair with his mother-in-law not long after the couple married and moved into her family home. The illicit relationship had allegedly continued for 20 years.
