Alam Flora Pledges Full Cooperation Over Pantai Hillpark Crash

Date:

Alam Flora Sdn Bhd has confirmed that one of its compactor trucks was involved in an incident at Jalan Pantai Murni 1, Pantai Hillpark, Kuala Lumpur, early yesterday morning.

The waste management company said it was cooperating fully with the relevant authorities to assist investigations into the incident.

“Alam Flora is providing full cooperation to the relevant authorities and all necessary assistance to facilitate the investigation,” the company said in a statement today.

The company added that the lorry would undergo further inspection as directed by the investigating officer as part of efforts to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Alam Flora stressed that the safety and wellbeing of its employees, contractors and members of the public remained a priority, adding that the incident was being taken seriously.

“Any necessary follow-up action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation,” it said, while expressing regret over the impact of the incident on the affected community.

The company also reiterated its commitment to maintaining high safety standards across all operational activities, particularly where its vehicles and workers operate in residential areas.

The incident was earlier reported after a rubbish lorry allegedly lost control and crashed through a condominium boundary wall before its front section fell onto three parked vehicles at Pantai Hillpark.

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa said the incident at Jalan Pantai Murni 1 was believed to have occurred at about 4.10am yesterday.
