Children Allegedly Seen Pressuring Public For More Money After Receiving RM10

Date:

Children believed to be foreign nationals have sparked public frustration after they were seen aggressively demanding more money from passers-by despite already receiving donations in a recent incident shared on social media.

The episode, posted by user @midnight.paws23, showed the children following and pressing a man who had just given them RM10. Instead of leaving, they allegedly continued to insist on receiving additional cash.

The uploader claimed the man had already been generous, but the children’s continued behaviour left him feeling harassed as they reportedly kept pushing for more money.

The video quickly drew strong reactions online, with many users expressing anger over what they described as increasingly aggressive begging tactics in public spaces.

One commenter shared a similar experience, claiming that after giving RM50 to a group of beggars, more individuals were called over moments later to ask for additional money, making the situation feel overwhelming.

Others warned the public not to encourage such behaviour, suggesting that repeated handouts may worsen the situation and lead to persistent demands.

The incident has prompted calls for authorities to monitor busy public areas more closely and address concerns over foreign begging activities that are said to be affecting public comfort and order.
