The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning for continuous rain at the alert level in four states — Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Perak — until tomorrow (26 Oct).
MetMalaysia said the affected areas are expected to experience persistent rainfall throughout the warning period.
In Kedah, the warning covers Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Pendang, Yan, Kuala Muda, Kulim and Bandar Baharu.
In Perak, the affected districts are Kerian, Selama, Larut Matang, Manjung, Perak Tengah, Bagan Datuk and Hilir Perak.
The warning also covers the whole of Perlis and Penang.
