DBKL Demolishes Illegal Cheras Food Stall After Months Of Ignoring Enforcement Notices

Date:

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has carried out a demolition operation on an unauthorised food business structure in Cheras after the owner failed to comply with enforcement directives issued months earlier.

The structure, located at Jalan Senohong in Taman Bukit Ria, was torn down on May 14 following continued non-compliance with notices issued on September 23 last year and a subsequent inspection on October 7.

DBKL said the premises had been operating without approval and action was taken under the Street, Drainage and Building Act.

The operation proceeded without incident after the owner had earlier removed all items and equipment from the site in accordance with standard procedures.

DBKL also reminded the public to channel complaints or enforcement-related information through its official portal at https://adukl.dbkl.gov.my.
