Family Of Four Found Dead In Desa ParkCity Condominium, Knife Discovered At Scene

A family of four, comprising a husband, wife and their two children, was found dead at a condominium in Desa ParkCity, Kepong here on Thursday.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said police received a report at about 3.32pm regarding a 48-year-old local man who was found dead at the residential building.

Police subsequently went to the unit and managed to gain entry with assistance from the Fire and Rescue Department.

“An inspection of the unit found three other individuals dead in separate rooms.

“They were a 47-year-old woman, who was the man’s wife, and their two children, a nine-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy.

“All three victims were found to have suffered serious injuries to their necks,” he said in a statement.

Police also discovered a knife believed to have been used in the incident.

Fadil said the motive behind the deaths has yet to be established, with investigations still underway.

The case has been classified under Section 302 of the Penal Code, while the death of the 48-year-old man is also being investigated as a sudden death case (SDR).

Police are continuing investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths and establish what happened inside the condominium unit.
