Date:

Three men were killed while another sustained minor injuries in a crash involving two four-wheel-drive vehicles at the ‘P’ U-turn on the Sarikei–Sibu Pan Borneo Highway on Saturday night.

The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) said in a statement that it received an emergency call at about 8.30pm before a team from the Sarikei Fire and Rescue Station was deployed to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the accident involved a single-cab and a double-cab 4WD vehicle.

The double-cab vehicle was carrying three adult men, with one victim thrown out of the vehicle while two others were trapped inside. The single-cab vehicle was driven by a man who sustained minor injuries.
