In a stomach-churning case of incestuous depravity, a heartless father has been arrested for repeatedly raping his own biological daughter for nearly a decade, starting when the helpless girl was only six years old.
The sickening abuse finally came to light after the 15-year-old victim bravely reported her father to police on June 15. The monster was nabbed by a team from the Setiu District Police Criminal Investigation Division on Saturday around 6pm.
Setiu District Police Chief Superintendent Zahril Asri Mohd Zain confirmed the arrest and revealed the horrifying details in a statement on Sunday.
According to police, the latest horrific attack happened on May 29 at around noon. The girl and her younger sister were at home when the father called his daughter into the bedroom and sexually assaulted her.
After the vile act, the depraved dad warned his terrified daughter not to breathe a word to anyone.
Investigations revealed the abuse had been going on for years, with the suspect allegedly preying on his own flesh and blood since she was just six. The victim is now said to be suffering from severe depression and psychological trauma.
The suspect was remanded for seven days from June 21 to 27 by the Setiu Magistrate’s Court under Section 376(3) of the Penal Code to assist in the ongoing investigation.
This appalling case adds to a string of disturbing sexual crimes involving family members, including previous reports of elderly men raping grandchildren and fathers raping toddlers.
