KKM Website Hit By Suspected Hack, Investigation Underway

Date:

The Ministry of Health (KKM) official website, www.moh.gov.my, is believed to have been compromised after it displayed a message allegedly left by an intruder who breached the web server.

Checks showed screenshots circulating on social media indicating that the KKM portal was altered to display a message attributed to “MUSHR00W”, along with a Telegram account believed to be linked to the hacker.

The defaced page also featured the slogan: “We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us.”

It also listed several names or groups, including “WebshellsR”, “Familia”, “Bibil”, “MeshSec”, “Illegalplatform.org”, “Roween” and “Thiscitze”.

Following the incident, KKM confirmed that its official website had been hit by a hacking attempt and said immediate action was being taken to address the situation.

The ministry advised the public to avoid accessing the website temporarily until further notice.

It also warned users not to click on suspicious links or download any files from the site to prevent cybersecurity risks.

“All official health information and announcements will continue to be shared through KKM’s official social media platforms and other verified channels,” it said in a Facebook post on Saturday.

KKM also apologised for any inconvenience caused and said further updates would be provided soon.

The ministry stressed that data security and public service delivery remain its top priority.
