A trailer crashed into a parked car while attempting a U-turn after taking a wrong route along Jalan Hospital, Sungai Buloh, on Monday.
Sungai Buloh District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor, said initial investigations revealed the trailer driver was traveling from Klang to a factory in Sungai Buloh when he realized he had entered the wrong road.
“Upon reaching Jalan Hospital, the driver attempted to make a U-turn. However, while reversing, the trailer collided with a car parked by the roadside, causing damage to both vehicles,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Both drivers lodged police reports at the Sungai Buloh District Police Headquarters Traffic Division on the same day.
The case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for careless and inconsiderate driving.
