Man Trapped In Honda City After Four-Vehicle Crash In Subang

A 36-year-old local man was injured after the car he was driving was involved in a four-vehicle collision near the Clock Tower along the Subang-bound route towards the Federal Highway this morning.

The crash, which occurred at about 9.24am, involved an unoccupied tour bus and three cars.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Operations Division assistant director Ashrul Riezal Asbar said the man became trapped in the driver’s seat of a Honda City following the collision.

Five firefighters from the Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the scene with a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) after receiving information about the crash.

The emergency team arrived at around 9.45am, covering a distance of approximately three kilometres from the fire station.

Firefighters then worked to free the trapped driver from the damaged vehicle before handing him over to Health Ministry personnel for further medical attention.

The victim was reported to have suffered a fracture to his arm.

The circumstances surrounding the crash have not been disclosed, while authorities are expected to determine how the four vehicles became involved in the collision.
