Traffic along the North–South Expressway Central Link (Elite) was heavily congested today after a trailer overturned on the right lane near the Seafield Toll Plaza interchange towards Shah Alam.
The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said the incident occurred at about 2.57pm, causing significant delays for motorists approaching the interchange. Drivers were advised to remain cautious and prepare for slower traffic as clearance works were carried out.
In an update posted at 4.16pm on social media platform X, LLM confirmed that the ramp from Seafield towards Shah Alam (Ramp E) had been fully closed to allow for traffic diversion and recovery operations.
Motorists heading southbound have been urged to use alternative routes and comply with traffic management instructions at the scene to ensure safety and smoother traffic flow.
