Cheras district police chief Assistant Commissioner Rosdi Daud said the man is being sought in connection with an offence under Section 15(1)(A) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.

He urged anyone with information on the man’s whereabouts to come forward and assist police in locating him. Public cooperation, he said, could help investigators bring the case forward for further legal proceedings.

Those with information can contact investigating officer Inspector Khairul Izwan Zainal Abidin at 017-624 3870.

Members of the public can also contact the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division at the Cheras District Police Headquarters on 03-9205 0222, extension 0207.

Police said information may alternatively be channelled to the Kuala Lumpur Police Hotline at 03-2115 9999 or provided to the nearest police station.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have relevant information to contact police through the channels provided and avoid taking matters into their own hands.
