Police Hunt Suspect Behind RM64,000 ATM Vandalism Spree In Jinjang

Police are on the lookout for a suspect believed to be responsible for a series of ATM vandalism incidents in Jinjang, which have resulted in total losses estimated at RM64,000.

Sentul Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Basri Sagoni, said the first report was filed at 8.40am on 16 February by a 38-year-old ATM technician from Maybank’s Jinjang Selatan branch.

“The technician discovered that four ATM screens were cracked while performing routine maintenance, and it is believed the damage was caused by an unknown individual,” he said in a statement today.
