A Proton Saga driver has sparked outrage online after allegedly running over a motorcyclist who had fallen off his bike in Taman Pulai Utama, Johor.
The incident came to light after a 23-second video showing the alleged hit-and-run was widely shared on Facebook on Friday.
In the footage, the motorcyclist can be seen lying on the road after falling from his motorcycle, with what appeared to be a broken leg.
The Proton Saga driver then appeared to attempt to run over the injured rider again before driving away from the scene.
Before leaving, the driver was heard telling the victim to meet him at the police station.
The video has prompted calls from social media users for the authorities to investigate the incident and establish what led to the confrontation.
However, the time of the incident, the motorcyclist’s actual condition and whether anyone else was injured have yet to be confirmed.
