A viral video showing a male student allegedly behaving as though he was under the influence of a substance inside a classroom at a school in Negeri Sembilan has prompted an investigation by the state Education Department.
The footage, shared by a Threads user, shows the student standing beside a desk with his body bent forward and his head lowered.
His apparently unsteady posture caught the attention of several other students in the classroom.
The post was accompanied by the caption, “teruk budak SPM sekarang, dalam kelas pun nak piu-piu”, which appeared to refer to the student’s alleged behaviour.
The video sparked various reactions online, with many netizens expressing shock that such an incident could happen within school premises.
Others, however, questioned the decision to share the footage publicly, as it showed the face of a student believed to be underage.
The student’s identity and the authenticity of the location shown in the video have yet to be verified.
Meanwhile, Negeri Sembilan Education Department director Khalidah Omar said the department was investigating the matter.
